Dulaglutide

Weekly GLP-1 receptor agonist fused to an IgG4 Fc fragment; sold as Trulicity by Eli Lilly.

Scientific Overview

Dulaglutide (Trulicity, Eli Lilly, FDA-approved 2014) is a GLP-1 analog covalently linked to a human IgG4 Fc fragment, giving a half-life of ~5 days. The REWIND trial demonstrated CV benefit in T2DM with and without established CVD. Less weight loss than semaglutide/tirzepatide but strong cardio-metabolic profile.
