Frequently asked questions

How long does a reconstituted peptide vial last?+

Most vendors cite ~28 days refrigerated for bacteriostatic-water-reconstituted peptides. Some peptides (BPC-157) tolerate longer; others (Cerebrolysin, melanotan) less. Always follow the manufacturer's COA.

What if my vial runs out before the BAC water expires?+

Common scenario — congrats, you used the whole vial. The 'limiting' field above tells you whether dose-frequency or shelf-life is the bottleneck so you can plan resupply.

Do peptides degrade in the fridge?+

Yes, slowly. Most lyophilized (powdered) peptides are stable for years at –20°C. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, the typical refrigerated shelf life is 28 days for short peptides, sometimes longer for very stable ones. Always check your COA.

Should I refrigerate or freeze a reconstituted vial?+

Refrigerate — never freeze a reconstituted peptide. Freezing damages the structure. Lyophilized (unreconstituted) vials can be frozen long-term.
